Get Ready to Race with So Cal Dirt Karters

Racers! SoCal Dirt Karters has implemented an Arrive and Drive and Junior Incentive Program to get young racers more involved with SCDK. We want to encourage youth racers and their parents to join our club to help secure the future of our organization, and grow racing in Southern California in general by letting them experience the thrill of dirt karting! 

Bring your own kart, or use one of ours, either way, come out and let's go racing!

Below are the details of this program:

Kid and Junior Arrive & Drive

1. Must not have previously driven a dirt kart 

2. Must purchase pit pass (insurance band) for all attending family and friends ($20/ea.)

3. Must provide your own helmet, long sleeve heavy shirt or jacket, closed toe shoes, long pants or driver suit. SCDK may provide neck braces if available.

4. Long hair must not be exposed when on track. Recommended to tuck into driver’s suit/ jacket.

5. Must arrive with parent or legal guardian no later than 3:00 for registration and attend the 3:30 orientation.

6. Transponders may be rented for electronic scoring, but not required.

7. Must attend drivers meeting with parent (or legal guardian).

8. Depending on our race night schedule, drivers will typically be given one 5 lap practice session, two 10 lap heat race/pre-main, and a 15 lap main event.

9. If we have more arrive and drive participants than we do available karts, SCDK may split the field up by ability/age.

10. Drivers will be asked to wipe down the kart with supplied rags and water.
